Use of Longitude and Latitude
The "Lat/Long can be used in
http://maps.google.com
to get a satellite image
and / or a map. The map can be printed
and used as driving direction
Copy the Lat,Long into the "window" and press "search".
Click the button "Satellite"
If the marker is disappearing when the image is
zoomed, then try to use full browser window.
If you see a link "SatPhoto/Map" , you can
click dirictly on that. A marker is pointing at the
position.
Other links involving "Satellite" is a
different version, and will be phased out over time.
If
you have
http://earth.google.com
installed, Lat and Long can also be used there.
The satellite image are of very good quality for most areas. You can clearly see the individual buildings and the size of the beach.
The format must be written. Example:
39.5021,2.5331
NOTE: Some older versions of operating systems and
browsers, works very slowly using this option.
