Millions of
tourists arrive every year at Son Juan airport on Mallorca. Most
travel in a group, and everything is arranged. An increasingly
number have arranged for a hire car. Some are travelling light and
want to explore the island using public transport. This page is
dedicated to explain a bit more about this subject. The public
transport is under rapid improvement, so time tables and plans are
changing more often than normal. The basic trick is to call
the tourist office at the destination.
Ibatur
web site has a list of offices around the island. The are very
helpful, and several languages are spoken. The smaller offices are
not so busy as Palma Information offices.
An
alternative to public transport is to book
a transfer. This service is offered by
www.alpharooms.com
A2Btransfers.com or
shuttledirect.com
