PUIGPUNYENT

Puigpunyent is a village aprox. 15 km from Palma. It lies in a valley surrounded by  mountains from 800 m to Galatzo of 1030 m. Also it is a separate municipally with the same name. The area is humid, and the "Riera" has its source here. You find Son Net here, a newly opened 5 star hotel . Life is quiet here, the influx from tourism only from by passers. The valley is hot in the summer, there is a public swimming pool opened July/August. On the corner nearby a restaurant will serve a very reasonable "menu del dia".

GALLILEA: Part of the municipally 4 km. from Puigpunient.
LA RESERVA: Natural reserve open to the public.
LA RIERA: Dry in summer. Ending in bay of Palma.
OLD ROAD TO ESTELLENC
PUIGPUNYENT: La Villa around the church, Es Serral by the town hall and the northern part of the town called Son Bru.
SA CAMPANETA: A path is leading to this small chapel in the mountains.
