There are
two coves in the area. Cala Atena in the East end,
and Cala Domingo in the West end. Cala Domingo is a
double cove with two sand beaches, Gran and Petit.
Cala Petit is also named Cala Tropicana.
Along the rocky waterfront the is a walk path
connecting the two coves. There is a commercial
centre in the area. There you find many shops,
restaurants and bars. Getting to Calas de Mallorca
using public transport is possible, even if
connection is not frequent. That is either bus from
Palma, via Manacor, or train to Manacor and bus from
there. Driving from Palma is about one hour.
