The beach is in the town centre. Next to the beach there is a yacht marina. Porto Cristo is a popular place to visit on  day trip, together with a visit to the under ground caves nearby. (Coves del Drac & Coves del Hams)

In the town you only find a few hotels. 3 km. form Porto Cristo you get to Porto Christo nou. This is next to the beaches Cala Mandia and Cala Anguila. Here you find more hotels, especially between Cala Mandia and the next bay called Cala Estany (Cala Romantica).

If you continue along the coast you get to Calas de Mallorca. Leaving Porto Cristo in the other direction, you get to S'Illot after 3 Km..
