Can Pastilla
beach is only a
short distance from Palma de Mallorca. Very close to the
airport. The area is a mix of residential property with the odd
hotel in between. There is bus service to Palma de Mallorca, 7
Kilometres away.

. This is the more quiet part of
Can Pastilla, with
quiet roads and villas. The main street of Can
Pastilla is busy and noisy, and very narrow.
Lately a renovation of the waterfront has been
carried out.
Before and after the high season Can Pastilla is
quieting down, and in spring and autumn it is a
very convenient place, because you are near the
city of Palma if the weather, should not be
suitable for the beach.
During the winter the kite surfing, surfing and
wind surfing is continuing from the beach near
Can Pastilla. In Can Pastilla you also find one
of the few surf shops on Mallorca.

The first
buildings in Can Pastilla as you are comming from the direction of
Palma de Mallorca. You are just outside Hotel Marina Luz. Hotel Apolo is the building to the left of the red square. Hotel Orleans Garden is across the street from Apolo. |

The small
bay is called Cala Estancia. On the other side of the small yacht
harbour, is the start of Playa de Palma beach. You are looking
towards El Arenal. The buildings in the far end, are Hotel Anfora - Apartments Embat. Hotel Alexandra
is to the left outside photo. Cala Estancia is very protected, and facing
south, it is popular for spring and autumn / winter visitors. |

Next to the club Nautico there is an other beach. It is very protected, with shallow
water. Close by there is one more beach, laid out like a lagoon. Very
safe for children as well. The actual "town" of Can Pastilla is only 100
meters away. |

Now and again the surfers get a chance as well. During the winter month
you can sometimes find surfing conditions on Mallorca. Unfortunately there are no place to rent surf
