Tossals Verds
is an estate that dates back to 16 th
century. It is situated in the hart of the Tramuntana
mountains. The nature is unspoilt. You enter from the south
through steep mountain sides. There is a "refugio" where lunch can
be taken ( call first for booking). It is about 1 1/4 hr fairly
easy walking. |

The old farm, now renovated and converted to a "refugio". Room for
some 30 people, most in big dorm, but also double rooms available.
This is part of "Dry stone wall route", that eventually will go
all along the north west cost of Mallorca. |

In the
beginning of February the "Almendros" are in blossom. An
estimated of 7 million trees makes the island look as if covered
with frost. It last approximately 3 weeks, and is a spectacular
sight. |
