This year (2001) , the carnival vas celebrated on Sunday the 25 of
February. There is a part for kids starting at 11.00, and then another
large possession at 17.00 hours. There is a lot of fancy dresses. This
is a big family event. The pictures are from Palma de Mallorca.

The possession
is making it's way down Paseo Mallorca in the center of
Palma de Mallorca.
Already the night before
you met many already dressed up in the bars and discothèques.
Some place a contest was arranged for the most fancy
dress. A week end with a lot of entertainment.
