This walk
starts from from Biniaraix, a small village near Soller on Mallorca
North West coast.
There is a bus to there from Soller. You can
also walk along the road following
the dry river bed.
Once in Biniaraix, locate the church, and then the old
public wash basin near by. This is where the route starts.
From here it is 4 hours to Cuber water
storage reservour. Quite a long walk. However it is well
worth just to have a stroll up this valley, and then return.
If you
are en route from Soller to
Tossals Verds, this is part of the route well.
The surrounding mountains are spectacular. The small village of
Biniaraix is well
worth having a look at as also. The route is easy, but it is steep
up hill. Besides the stone pavement can be very slippery if wet.
