This walk starts near the small town of  Estellencs. Coming from the direction of Andratx, and before you arrive to Estellencs, look for the kilometre marker with the number 97.

Parking is not suitable for many cars, so it is best to arrive early.

The route is marked with wood signs all the way. It is a circular route, so you get back to the same place. Duration is some 4 hours and it is considered middle difficulty at places. It is a lot of uphill walking, and this route is not suited during the hot season. On this trip you may encounter low hanging clouds, low temperatures and high winds. The Galatzo mountain is around 1000 metres above sea level.

Add one hour if you make the tour to the top of Galatzo as well.

It is possible to cross over to the other route to Galatzo, and walk towards Puigpunyent. Follow the sign to Font des Pi, found midway on the circular route.

There is a BBQ place with benches and tables. There are restrictions to the use of open fires during the dry season.
