Son Maragues was constructed in 1797, on land owned by the family Los Moragues since 15 th. century. Sold in 1883 to Luis Salvador. This is a typical fortified estate as found on the NW. coast, and one of the largest. It was used as a guest house by L. Salvador and housed his "Museo Industrial de Balear", a permanent exhibition of goods manufactured by local industrialists and farms. This was meant to promote products to sell aboard and thus inprove the economy.  This place is opened to the puplic.
