Puerto Pollensa
is a lot quieter than the nearby Puerto de Alcudia. The
beach here in Pollensa is large compared to the amount of
hotels in the area. In the town there is a good
selection of restaurants. There is a water front from
where you enjoy the view of the bay, and a lot to look at in
the marina. By car you are 1 hour drive from Palma de
Mallorca, unless you are in the week end traffic during
summer. Then the road is a real night mare with traffic some
times down to a crawl. From end of October most hotels close
until next spring and life becomes very quiet. |
