Almudaina is just next to the cathedral. This building dates
back to the time, when the north African kings had conquered
Spain and Mallorca. |
The
classical cathedral picture, and a place well worth visiting. Not alone
to see this fantastic building, but also to visit the nearby
area. Within walking distance from here, you can visit old
town, shopping district or just breathe the atmosphere of what
is still a real Spanish city. |

In the centre of Palma
de Mallorca there is a lot of modern art to be found, made by
local artists. Look around and you find these sculptures
located in many places. This is called "the cyclist". I took a
while to find the bicycle. |

Typical "old style" bar
on Born, called "Lirico", near Plaza de la Reina. One of the
oldest in town. It is the place to relax and
study the people coming and going. Try the chocolate cake. |

Few places are having
the amount of decoration during Christmas as Palma de

In
Palma harbour there is a lot of activity. Here is however a rare
