The 10'th World Folkdance Festival was selebrated in Palma de Mallorca from 22-26 April 2003. It is a biannual event, arranged by CIC. During these days, groups from all over the world were performing  in the morning and late afternoon. This year the main places were Borne, Plz. Major and Plz. España.

Some groups performed classical dances as most understand folkdance. Others, like the group from Algiers, were demonstrating a complete, very good, street theatre. The only place they were not, was on the stage.

Certainly a very colourful and entertaining event. Don't miss it next time.
