If you like to move around on Gran Canaria using public transport, a bus plan is needed. Well first one thing to note. A bus here is called a "Gaugas". There is a great plan as well that show the routes, but it seem to work only in the "Spanish" version of the web site.

To move around the island visit the "Global" web site. It is in Spanish only, but they are the main operator of busses on the island of Gran Canaria.  After the web is open, click on "Recorridos and Horarios". Next click on  " líneas y horarios " and then on "Ver todas las líneas"

If you want to move by plane, the best thing to do is to contact a local travel agent, as this calls for a seat reservation.
