From Taurito/Mogan the road starts to move inland. 10 kilometres up the road, it splits, left to San Nicolas, right leads further up the mountains. There is a stretch of very bad non paved road. If you have the nerve and the car to pass, you can get into the next valley and back to the coast. Read the contract on your hire car carefully before you attempt this stretch.
