Some people like a big resort like Playa del Ingles, some do not. The fact is however, that it is a resort where you will not get bored. The lay out is amazingly spacious, with wide roads, and the upkeep of the area is done very well done. It is popular to take a walk along the whole beach, so you can get quite a work out here. Some areas are for nudist. The area is popular for retired people during the winter. Summer time means more action.
There are several large shopping and entertainment  centres in Playa del Ingles. Some have their own web site, have a look at CC Cita. . More famous is CC Yumbo, probably best known for the adult orientated Bars and Clubs.
